The great Imam was undoubtedly one of the prominent seminary lecturers with extra-ordinary potentials in teaching different disciplines of Islamic studies.
In teaching Hadith studies, for example, he would explain every hadith in meticulous details.
Sometimes he would refer to a single sentence of one hadith for several times in interpretation and connection to different subject matters.
As an expert of Hadith studies he explained:
Some hadiths are in origin two or more different hadiths which have been formed into one, therefor, they should be meticulously studied in full details!”
Those days one could seldom find a person like Imam who had a deep knowledge over the subject.
