Imam Khomeini undertook a great struggle for revival of Islam in contemporary era and did his utmost to relieve the Muslims from the clutches of imperialism. It indeed required too much courage and sincereity for overthrowing the western-backed regime of Shah in Iran. No body other than Imam could carry out such a great task.
