Once it was brought into the notice of Imam that a well-khnow Quranic reciter in the holy city of Najaf, Mr. Shoshtari, was grappling with disease and finanical problems needed assistence.
Imam instructed a personell of his office to remind him tomorrow at 9 a.m so the necessary arrangements could be made to deliver him financial aid.
Meanwhile, the next day, a sad incident happened and Seyyed Mostafa Khomeini, Imam’s eldest son, passed away and the people had gathered at Imam residence for mourning ceremony and funeral.
The personell did not see suitable to remind Imam about Mr. Shoshtari due to specific cricumstances.
As the clock passed nine and moved forward, Imam suddenly looked at the personnel with a bit anger for not reminding and then filled a pocket with money and instructed him to deliver that sum to Mr. Shoshtari,
Seeing all this, Mr, Shoshtari thanked for Imam’s assistence by saying that Khomeini had been still taking care of us despite difficult situation and curcumstances.
