Imam Khomeini had in his hand the pulse of the people of Iran for more than 14 years and he used to guide them toward the path that was righteous for them.
The Islamic revolution is important from different aspects for the general public that gained independence following victory of Islamic revolution.
First from the aspect of the morals that it has, second because of the spirit of leaning on oneself and letting go of some nations, third from the aspect of the path that it has chosen; it does not obey the East and it does not travel the path of the West; in fact it has chosen a particular path and inspired by the religion of Islam and Iranian morals; it travels that path.
Once Imam Khomeini sent a message to Gorbachev we in fact got to know the depth of his personality and we understood that he is not a mere political figure. Indeed he has a religious standing and when he is among the people he is a holy figure. That message is the most important and the loudest voice of Iran's revolution for our general public.
