An Iranian publisher has compiled a precious encyclopedia with close coordination of the institute about the figures and history of the Islamic Revolution.
The complementary volume of the Encyclopedia of the Islamic Revolution was unveiled Sureh-Mehr Publications in the Iranian capital Tehran on Tuesday.
The collection provides useful information for young adults about the revolution and figures who played greater role in advancing the objectives of the Islamic movement.
The encyclopedia covers the stories of influential figures and numerous momentous events that largely contributed to the victory of the Islamic Revolution in the 1979.
The comprehensive collection contains around 900 entries.
Dozens of historians and researcher under the supervision of the Research Institute of Imam Khomeini and the Islamic Revolution contributed to the three-volume encyclopedia over the past years.
It contents cover a time span from the early 1960s up to the victory of the revolution.
It is worth to mention that the institute for compilation and publication have published dozen of works left by Imam Khomeini and books about the history of the Islamic Revolution.
The Islamic Revolution emerged triumphant under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini in 1979.
Imam Khomeini established Islamic-democratic system which brought prosperity to the Iranian nation in coming years. The revolution also strengthened the Muslims and oppressed nations.
