Imam Khomeini had always a rational and authenitc approach to religius affairs. He used to reject false calims of contacts with ultra spiritual sources by so-called anonymous figures or spiritualitsts who had illusions that they were closely associated with divine personalities or infallible Imams.
Imam once said that if they had close contacts with ultra special spiritual miriculous sources then whey they donot bring answers to my complicated philosophycal or mystical queries.
Imam instead promoted dynamic research through the divine scripture and the Islamic sources and encouraged the scolars to find solutions of the modren era problems grapping the Islamic societies.
