In his letters to believers, faithful people and friends within close circles, Imam Khomeini used to put special emphasis on worship and praying.
He used t maintain that the worship and praying has been a launch-pad for spiritual progress, growth, perfection and the self-purification.
According to Imam, when a faithful person stands before the Lord for fulfillment of his own needs or deficiencies or asks for forgiveness; it would be great moment.
Prayers or worship is a way of connecting between the Lord and his devotees.
It is God the Almighty who answers his prays and in such a manner the bond between the Lord and his devotee becomes constantly stronger and durable.
